THE CINEMA IS ALSO FOR THE YOUNGEST!

Because there is no age to discover and appreciate cinema in all its forms, theNature & Environment Film Festivaloffers a special program, adapted to schoolchildren.

Throughout the year,FNE Iserepays particular attention toeducate young people.Environmental education has been a fundamental aspect of FNE Isère (formerly FRAPNA) since its creation in 1972. Cinema is a particularly interesting and effective means of raising awareness among children and their teachers about the protection of nature and the environment. environment. The school festival is a fun tool for addressing environmental issues and proposing work tracks for educational teams.

Every year these aremore than 5,000 studentsfrom CP to CM2 who benefit from free screenings offered by FNE Isère as part of the Nature & Environment Film Festival.

 

For 3 weeks, students from the municipalities of the Grenoble metropolitan area can attend screenings with their teachers in10 partner roomsby choosing from24 sessionson8 municipalitieswhere they can watch8 short films.Teachers can download an educational file including detailed information on the films and the themes covered and suggestions for activities.

Sessions open to elementary schools in the Grenoble metropolitan area, upon registration.

The capacity of each room being limited, registrations will be made in order of arrival of the answers.

SCHOOL SELECTION

8 Movies I 58 min

This year, for the36th edition of the School Festival of Nature & Environment Cinemafrom Grenoble fromFNE Isere(formerly FRAPNA)8 movies  were selected by the committee. A rich program highlighting all cinematographic genres. Students will be able to enjoy documentaries, fiction, different animation methods and also video art.

​

It is also a rich selection due to its proposal of themes and subjects covered. The program addresses strong issues such as deforestation, urban pollution, the disappearance of resources, but also the cycle of life, friendship, the elements, all with a lot of poetry, benevolence and even humor.

​

In order toto accompanyteachers and students through this program, the teaching team of FNE Isère publishes each yeara file allowing you to prepare or continue the reflection and the workrelated to the films of the school selection.
